Anyone at the meet? What is with all these super slow sprint times?
Wariner 46.6 for a 400
De Grasse 10.3 and 2.046
is the timer broken?

The air in Canada is much denser.
I thought this thread was about the "live" results.
Badumtshhh.
slow meet
Anyone see what Duane ran?
A lot of people running their worst times since high school. Rowbury wins over a decent field in 4:09; Cabral wins 8:29; McNamara not bad/not great 3:39 FTW, etc..

1:50.23, second-to-last in his heat.
what the hell happened?
I was with an athlete at the meet... it was too late in the evening, and should have went off in the early afternoon. We came from the east, so with the time change and late start time, we were competing at close to normal bedtime. The whole meet had a lot of very sub-par performances. This needs to be an afternoon meet.
For the sprints, it almost seemed as if there was a timing glitch or something. Those sprint times were so far off the norm for all those sprinters.
No glitch, just a bad time to stage the meet. It was a long day for everybody just because of the evening start times. But, yes... VERY sub- par!
It was because of a headwind, chilly conditions, but mainly bc of a horrendous track that looked 20 years old. Thankfully heard it is going to be resurfaced in the next year. It was like a rock with no spring at all.
