Good sprinter spikes

I ran in victorys in high school, 49.2 and 22.8 PR. But I think Maxcats are the best 400m spikes.

Those seem more for mid distance runners

I don't think anyone who REALLY ran 22.8 would be stupid enough to be sprinting in victories (distance spikes are very bad in the curves for sprinters). And Nike sprint spikes that they sell to the public (not elite) are basically garbage compared to the competition. There are several spikes out there that are several ounces lighter than anything Nike sells.

I am a pure sprinter (60/100 only) and race in the Adidas Prime SP (which is THE fastest thing ever made) and train in the Adidas Accelerator. They also have another spike called the Prime Finesse, which is more of a 400m spike.

Look at the New Balance SD200, which Trayvon Bromell wears (4.6 oz).

Also look at the Asics Sonicsprint Elite (4oz) which is probably the next fastest thing to the Prime SP if you want to race 60-400 and not 60-200.

Thanks I'm probably going for the prime finesse. I read online that you're not supposed to wear socks with spikes because of blisters. Will wearing socks have a huge effect on me blistering?

Not true.

If you get blisters wearing spikes they are the wrong size/poor fit.

Shoes are a highly individual thing. Buy the spikes that fit YOU best. do not be married to a brand or model since they change frequently and replacing them may become difficult.
