I have read that Krummenacker is running an indoor 1500 within the next week. The field is apparently stacked and this would a good place to see if Krummenacker still has something left in the 1500. Imagine if Krummenacker got back in 2002 1500 meter form. Both Webb and a healthy Krummenacker would give the US two solid 3:30+ runners. I have a feeling we are going to see more of Krummenacker in the 1500 this year. The potential here is awesome. If he still has at least a solid 1:44 800meter speed base Krummenacker could be deadly in the 1500. Not even Scott and Maree has this kind of 800 speed. Remember, Krummenacker 1500 meter PR is still one full second faster than what Webb and Willis have run. In 2002 we all thought Krummenacker was going to be the the next Steve Scott.
Despite his checkered career Krummenacker is still one of the fastest US middle distance runners ever.
