Remember when Dustin threatened to sue the nasty people on LR that were accusing Rob of cheating?

What a POS.

He's surely profited out of this scam, ghost writing his horseshit autobiography and marketing this lying tool at every opportunity.

I think Rossi does deserve Rushmore status as does RY. There are a lot of doozies on the Marathon Investigation webpage but most are slower runners trying to scam slow Boston qualifiers (my favorite which was pulled was the woman who faked running the entire BM and posed at the finish line w a discarded Mylar blanket). Litton wanted to be thought of as a 2:50 guy, a great age grouper not just a good one (he was a legit 3:08ish guy which was a fine time for his age).

The degree of narcissism and lengths they go to is what makes the best cheaters epic like Rossi, with Litton for sure the king. RY is right up there with all the outrageous claims of superhuman endurance and speed.

Would be nice if an Indy lets runner would memorialize the exact spot of that tracker in the RV park. Maybe a nice rock or plaque

Word on the street is that the SKINS statement will be "soft" on RY and MS. If there is a sponsorship or job left standing between them, I think this whole thing was a travesty.

Let's hope they do the right thing.

Where are all his supporters now? Certainly not on his Facebook page anymore. Apparently if you worship someone you only know through the internet you lose interest if they stop posting stuff. Funny that.

There has been a bit of activity on his page since tidbits of the report started surfacing - not from supporters though! Oh dear....

I've spent far too many hours in this thread - it's may well be my abiding memory of running in 2016, over Van Niekerk, Ayana, Bekele and everything in the real world. Such a rich and dramatic (and at the same time trivial and pathetic) tale.

Have never descended into the Mike Rossi thread rabbit hole mind you. How has that thread done 12k? Seems a much simpler story.

Bullshit. If you're read the report then you'll know it's cut and dry. Skins wanted a way to drop RY legitimately, and with this report they most certainly got it.

No BS, have you read the SKINS statement? This info is from someone who has. Of course I think they ought to drop everyone involved. A little worried they are not going to. Maybe RY is dropped, MS keeps his job. And no restitution or anything. Maybe that would be soft but acceptable. IDK, we'll see.

Frankly I think they ought to drop them both, demand Young's stipend back from that time period, demand refunds on all expenses, etc.

Skins and Fuller must fire Michael. Fuller preaches integrity, honesty, and transparency on his little essay blog. If he protects one of his own employees who committed blatant fraud, he has no shred of integrity.

Looking at the cadence graphic that was leaked, the evidence for widespread cheating is damning.

There is no possible way that Michael didn't know and assist this farce. RY couldn't ride hundreds of miles in the RV and Michael not know.

No I wasn't aware the Skins statement is out in the wild. In my opinion, Skins dropping RY was always the best outcome we could have hoped for. Anything else to do with contracts, expenses etc I think wouldn't be made public regardless.

It is mainly the sheer despicable nature of the man but then again the story is anything but simple.

Gutted they are going to leave Rob twisting in the wind two more days before releasing a report that will undoubtedly exonerate him.

Seems like this is the lowest vile pit on the internet where the last of the doubters have migrated to.

Hope your admins keep well documented logs of IPs. Libel is a serious thing on this side of the pond. We might not be able to enforce any judgements could be won against the many worms here, but you'd never be able to travel to the UK again.
