I just ran one of Jack Daniel's indicator workouts and am wondering roughly what this workout indicates in terms of 800m ability. I thought I would ask one of the more experienced members on this board who has a better idea of what a workout equates to than I do.
The workout was 9x200m with only 30 seconds of rest in between each repeat.
Times were:
Rep 1- 31.5
#2- 31.9
#3- 31.3
#4- 32.5
#5- 31.4
#6- 33.6
#7- 32.8
#8- 34.4
#9- 32.4 (No kick)
Remember, each of these had only 30 seconds rest.
If I can run this workout, what time in an 800m should I be able to hit with no questions asked, 100% figuring for an all out effort. If it helps you determine the results and figure out what this workout is as good as in terms of an 800m time, I am an endurance focused athlete who runs longer events and has always had trouble with footspeed.
