Simple question. You have a 400/800 runner. How often, and in what events, do you race him? Assume:
- 9 Saturdays for racing during season (maybe 8 because of spring break, maybe 7 if you want to take a week off before leagues/sectionals)
- 3-5 Saturdays running either the 400, the 800 or both, depending on how well he did during those 7-9 races during the season.
- Dual meets are hand timed pretty atrociously, so don't count on that for an accurate result.
How often do you race the 100, 200, 400, 800, 1600 and 3200, 5k and at what point during the season? What is your reasoning?
