There is a lot of great action.
Will Almaz Ayana get the WR in the w5000?
The women's 800 is STACKED. Ajee Wilson looks to be in good shape and is racing on the DL circuit for the firs time but has her hands full in a truly spectacular women's 800 with Caster Semenya, Francine Niyonsaba and all of the medallists from 2015.
Men's steeple, mile and more.

Just wondering, why don't more Americans run in this meet?

Just speculation on my part, but with USA's just 1 month away, perhaps most would rather focus on getting a few final weeks of good preparation in (in the case of some, at altitude) rather than fly around the world to race. Between Pre and a handful of others, there are enough quality meets in the states that it isn't 100% necessary to fly to Europe to race. -

Yep. I would like to see Merritt (and James) against Van Niekerk in this one. -
Ayana does not need any pacers to run as fast as she wishes.
If she wants the record and goes for it, the record will be history.
LR is totally wrong about this. -

best thing about the 800m is that niyonsaba will keep pushing semenya to run faster times. I predict a 1.55 mid for semenya
the world record will be broken during olympics -
The men's steeplechase. At the front Kipruto versus Birech and after that the two Americans if they can drop big prs in their first Diamond League race.

Haha, no ... that would be Nicholas Kiptonui Bett who is running the steeple. 8:19 PR, just competed at the Beijing world challenge meet.
The 400h guy is Nicholas Kiplagat Bett.
