In your career what was your best moment, something you are proud of?
For me, state record in the 4x800 and state champ in 1500 same meet. 4:05
I did eventually go sub 4 but it wasn't as awesome as getting a banner in our gym.

Probably winning region xc with my team, or going 1-2-3 with my teammates in our heat of the 800 at State.
on my long run yesterday an old man out for an early morning walk on the other side of the road shot me a thumbs up and said "looking solid!"
League champions this year with two seniors including myself in the 4x4 after consecutive years of coming short against a rival.. I was third leg and I got the baton right after the other team did. Noticed he was cruising too much on 200m and I unleashed the best kick with 200 to go.. Gave my team a 15m lead that our anchor was able to take home. We hosted league and every school was cheering us on and just the adrenaline I had made it special
The first time I won a local race (5K) sprinting the last 300m barefoot on rough asphalt and beating the lead guy in front who couldn't respond to my kick, felt like I was weightless and I got some amazing comments/looks.
Not my "greatest race" but I was most proud after a cross race where I was juking it out with this one guy for the lead the entire way (elbows and cutting each other off at every chance we got no other runners around) and he got away from me with 800 to go and then I had a crazy come from behind kick to win it.
I'm not fast at all, and my running achievements are not impressive, but getting 19th in an invitational after being injured all year was something that stands out to me. It was just great to accomplish something during a season that was just race after race of injuries and dissapointment.
