In your career what was your best moment, something you are proud of?
For me, state record in the 4x800 and state champ in 1500 same meet. 4:05
I did eventually go sub 4 but it wasn't as awesome as getting a banner in our gym.

Getting runners high after 7@6:50, and then jogging a 6:08, it felt awesome.
Okay more seriously running 4:23 for 1600 freshman year was fun
One time, after a long run, i took a monumental crap. I swear, as that thing was passing my sphincter it was as if the entire Universe was coming into being. It was freakin deep, man.
My XC team won the state championship my senior year, and that was an incredible feeling. I joined as a freshman and eventually took about 4:00 off my 5K time by senior year, and I truly never imagined I would even run in the state championship, let alone win the team title and place in the top 20.
In track I was also seeded 15th in the slow section of the two mile at an invitational, and I ended up winning the heat in a huge PR. My time held through the fast heat and I won overall.
Senior year of track (HS) was all around great.
At my conference meet I destroyed the field from 400 out and ran a 7 second PR in the 3000m in that race. The previous year I was 10th and the field was much weaker.
I came in 6th at the state meet in a tactical race. I have never had much speed so I was proud of that, although I could have placed higher had I went with the breakaway group.
The next week I took ~.5 seconds off my 3000m PR to win an open meet against some of the kids I had thought of as the "distance gods" of my region. It was the night after prom too.
That season I took 8 seconds off my 800, 12 seconds off my 1500, and 35 seconds off my 3000m. Those couple months were the most fun I'd ever had with track.I went from being the an "average HS varsity runner" to one of the faster guys in my state (but still an also ran). I'm still not completely sure how I made that jump.
I got injured in XC by tearing my hamstring and missed literally all the meets. I ran a bit in January and did absolutely nothing in February. Then came March and cometh the man cometh the hour. I did alright in practice and in the first meet I placed 9th in the 3200 and 1600. Two meets later I contested 3rd and 4th places and became someone to watch out for. The season was a blast and I Pr'd by 1:26 in the 3200 since last year. Truly a good comeback story.
My 2nd 8K ever I came through 5k in 16:35-16:45, this was my freshman year of college and in high school my PB was 17:48, and I only broke 18 once in HS. I thought I was going to die, but held on and ran like 5:45, and 5:50 to close. I wouldn't have been surprised if I closed i, like 6:30 especially considering the last part of the course had some right turns and a bunch of short hills. Finishing that race was satisfied I had ever been after a race.
Ran 4:20 on the anchor leg of a DMR to win from way behind junior year of high school.
