Given that Nike has decided to s*#t all over the Boris Berian Cinderella story along with the long list of other crappy things the shoe giant has done to athletes in our sport, I would like to suggest that all of us attending the Olympic Trials get t-shirts made to wear.
The front: Go Boris!
The back: Nike Sucks!

Do we even know the whole Boris story? For all we know he did breach contract. I'm not taking sides, just saying I haven't seen either contract and I doubt posters on letsrun have either. Details are needed before people go crazy.
You guys realize that the ONLY thing keeping this dying sport alive in our country is Nike? No one else gives a cr@p. Say all the bad things that you want, but they're the ones pumping all the money into the sport here. You think brooks or hoka is going to put up the millions for usatf? Complain all you want, but if Nike leaves, that's it. Our beloved niche sport becomes a footnote.

That is not true. Remember nike has paid bribes to be a sponsor in some nations overseas, like Kenya, do you think it operates differently in the US? If nike dropped usatf another company would pick it up, but the useless usatf bloat officials wouldn't be as happy. In case you've forgotten, nike sponsors Russia as well.
