does anyone use these shoes to train in, or does anyone who has them to race in have any input or reccomendations on whether or not to train in them...aslo ive been lookin at the Nike Air Streak Vengance iv...any input on that shoe would also be greatly appreciated
I use an older version. White body with green stripes. I use it as a main training shoe which I alternate with the DS racers. I like the feel of it and have gotten used to its lack of support. It is definitely a good shoe.I don't really like the newer version though.

I just bought a pair today and I plan to run in them tomorrow, and use them as a training shoe...They do feel wonderful...
I've had a pair for about 6months or more. I have found them to be comfortable and supportive aswell as reasonably light at the same time.
Getting towards the end of their life im finding that they're starting to come apart on the bottom of the shoe. The rubber in the mid-foot has worn away completely so often squeeks and stuff when i run on road or boardwalk and stuff as the plastic (or whatever is under the rubber) hits the ground. The upper middle of the shoe has worn away alot and I have gotten many rocks stuck in the holes in the bottom of the shoe (holes that are meant to be there that is!) some rocks have pushed through into my foot which is abit annoying and the bottom of the shoe is really weak.
In conclusion, great shoe, don't wear it past the expirey date though!
