Just send your degree back. You clearly didn't benefit from your college education.
I think this solves the debate we were having earlier in the thread. You guys are numskulls.

"I only see 5 teams max advancing, probably Williams, Amherst, Colby, MIT, and Middlebury. If those are the teams that get top 5 I see the individuals being Nichols, O'Connor, Jones, Bosworth, Dudek, Kilgore, and Stender. The other Brandeis guy, Aschale, top three Bowdoin guys, and Scott will be close."
What if tufts beats colby, then who do you have picked?
For a broader, national perspective, recall that boy wonder James Jones got shafted earlier this year by all of North Central's top 6 at the Louisville Classic.
If we put Jones in the class of Mo, Decker and Hale, surely a team that can put 6-7 guys in front of Williams' and Amherst's top dogs will run riot over SUNY Geneseo and any other DIII team. (By comparison, #2 ranked SUNY Geneseo put one guy ahead of Mo/Decker/Hale at the Purple Valley Invite).
At this rate, there will be a smaller margin of victory between The Field and North Central than between North Central and the 2nd place team.
Classic Williams - ever since I heard about how Farwell had to step in with the deans to keep Bijan from failing out his junior year I've had no respect for their academic program. It's ridiculous. Who are they bribing to do so well in college rankings?
I guess everything comes around in the long run though - sure, Bijan earned a Williams degree after 4 years of barely scraping through classes and focusing on running like a D1 basketball player, but where is he now? Washed up, jobless, certainly past his peak. Even after graduating from a supposedly elite institution, the dimwit couldn't get anything above an entry level job to save his life. I hear he's still running though - good for him.
I don't want to be mean - Bijan seems like a nice guy. It's just sad what Williams does to their athletes. Sad for them, and also sad for the stupidity they bring to these message boards. Sorry Williams guys, but you should really get some common sense. Running isn't everything, especially in D3.
Good point. Graduate at the top of your class from Williams and you could end up coaching scrubs like Bijan in cross country for the next 60 years.

That's a good point. My son has a great job.

Or, you know, Jones had a bad race that day and a great race Saturday. Being an aerobic monster from Colorado probably helped him on the Colby course too. I agree that North Central is good, but come on. Hale got like 17th at nationals last year, Hussein 27th, even someone like Noah Williams something around 45th. North Central very well might demolish Geneseo and obviously Williams and Amherst, but they aren't getting 6 guys in before Hale/Decker/Mo, and they won't have 7 All-Americans.
Wonder boy finished 3 seconds behind North Central's 4,5,6 and 9 seconds behind their #3 at Louisville. There is no reason, based off this info, to think that Williams or Amherst wouldn't be able to race with their 3-7 (Zach and Ethan are another story).

The Louisville race is the most distance Jones has ever put on his teammates; he had 53 seconds on Ferguson-Hull and 1:01 on Magin, compared to 48 seconds and 58 seconds from NESCACs. These gaps are consistent enough to tell us that his two races were at least comparable in strength, and that his Louisville race was probably even stronger.
Given the nature of championship races, I agree that North Central probably won't have all 6 ahead of Hale/Decker/Mo, but the fact that it is a possibility is reflective of their strength.
Team reviews
Williams- These boys are tough and sadly very deep. Should be a top 5 contender
Amherst- Good group of bros that ran well. Prolly the nicest team in the 'Cac
Middlebury- Solid pack that is in need of a low stick. If you don't know anyone on the middlebury team. Befriend them.
Tufts- Will a larger field at regionals benefit the Jumbos? Low sticks stay just as low but their horrid 3-5 only gets pushed back even more. Strange group fo sho.
Colby- Have they ran a flat course this season? This team is tough.
Rest of Cac: You guys just gotta believe.
Chelimo, jones, Kilgore, stender, bosworth, Dudek, and gagnon. Gonna be a lot of nervous individuals the day after the race depending on who gets the 5,6,7 spots for teams and how favorably the committee looks upon New England. I could see all the qualifiers I mentioned being top 50,which certainly isn't the case most years.

See the Williams boy try to lean on the Lord Jeff (can I call him that? is that name contagious?) in that vid? Meijer-key the Amherst runner looks so relaxed, while that scrub falls over after a slow early season 8k. Watch for Amherst to really unleash that energy at NCAAs-Williams won't know what hit it.
Also can someone appreciate how incompetent US News and World report is? Williams might do a good job with some students, but they have so many struggling athletes it has to hurt them still. Bijan was fast, but his posts had typos when he came and whined about not getting inn to races. Now he's probably going to be a graduate assistant. Heard the Tinder scene in Willytown isn't too great, so he almost certainly will have to keep up with that hand of his (fastest couple in the CAC!).
