Hey guys im 14 in 8th grade and currently i can run a 5:39 mile, 20:20 5k, 43min 10k, 1:50 hf(Didnt train for this one). Currently i run 6x a week with 2miles + 4x800s,2 miles + 6x400s,5 mile long run, 2.5mile recovery run,Hill Repeats,1mile jog. When I ran a 5:39 i was doing 2-3 mile runs every other day and it was a month ago, now ive been taking training more seriously ever since and i feel great. Today i did 2 miles in 14:21 and 6x400s all under 1:20 with 4:30 break. Is it possible to aim for a 5:20 mile in a week from now? Thanks and I don't have a coach so all the advice will help :)
