Will Webb become a trivia question for track geeks???????????
Sub 3:50???????
Webb had a slower PB going into the Bowerman Mile (3:59i to Hunter's 3:57i) and the result changed American distance running forever. This should be good!
they better add slag
#freeslagdog
Slagowski is in the international mile I believe... There is no reason to split the two up, they should be in the same race.
Blankenship needs to give up his spot so the people can get what they want, Slags vs Hunter!!!!

If I recall correctly, Webb had split 3:59 the year before the Bowerman Mile and didn't have as many opportunities to run fast as Drew had. Webb was very immersed in his team, running relays, dual meets and multiple events, etc. I highly doubt Drew will come close to 3:53, in fact, I would be surprised if Drew PRs in the Bowerman Mile. That 3:53 was one of those magical races for Webb and it actually took him 2 years to back to that 3:53 level.
3:56.21

Kind of odd as both Magness and McGrath ran in the 2003 Bowerman together -
http://trackandfieldnews.com/discussion/archive/index.php/t-94854.htmlI'm Predicting 3:55 based on his recent 1:48 800m pr and the fact he is an aerobic beast. Plus he will get pulled along.
