I'm at 300 miles on my Glide 8s and curious to see how many miles people on here are getting from these shoes.
When should I replace them?

I have a 165 miles on mine and they show no sign of wear. I know that's half of what you've got.
I hate them. Too big and bulky
318 miles on mine. Stopped using them as they hurt my feet. The Boston's don't though. I think it's too much cushion in the Glide's, for me.
Been sticking to the Glide 6s so far and on average they've lasted around 500 miles. After that the outside of the sole is too worn out as I supinate but I can see them last longer for someone who hits the ground "flat".
Had you used the 6s and 7s before ? Noticed any difference with the 8s ?
I've ran through a pair of 6s. Probably put about 300-400 miles on them can't remember.6 vs 8 - still very much the same shoe. Feels like the same sole. The upper has been updated a little, look at the heel part on the 8s and you'll see what I mean.I love that Adidas doesn't totally re-do their shoes and just makes slow gradual improvements instead of ruining a great thing. They are still my favorite training shoe... although the other guy in this thread is not the first to tell me to check out the boston

For some reason Adidas dumped the great sole of the GB6/GB7/GB8v1 for the GB8v2 adopting a cheaper looking version of the Ultra Boost sole with "pods". Apparently it wears out quicker, can anyone confirm that?
That's the sole of the GB8 v2 :

I got to around 800 before most of the outsole was gone. Still wear them on dry days, but they get slippery in the wet. Boost midsole never wears out.
I can confirm the increased wear of the "pod" sole. The "pod" sole is made with a softer, tackier rubber compared to the old sole which is notably harder and more durable.
However, I have been running in the new Glide (I think it is just called the Supernova now) for a few weeks and it seems to be holding up better despite having the "pods." I am guessing that Adidas switched back to a more durable rubber.
