By the way, once you get past a certain point, even easy jogging will not help you recover. The fastest program to get your legs back under you would probably be something like:
M OFF (walking is OK, live, make friends, laugh, play, dance, eat lots of real food, )
T YOGA+compound weightlifting
W OFF (walking is OK, live, make friends, laugh, play, dance, eat lots of real food, )
Th Hill sprints 10x100m full recovery
F OFF (walking is OK, live, make friends, laugh, play, dance, eat lots of real food, )
Sat YOGA+compound weightlifting
Sun OFF (walking is OK, live, make friends, laugh, play, dance, eat lots of real food, )
Put on AT LEAST 10lbs probably 20lb.
NO tempo runs, intervals, distance efforts, anything taxing. Don't fast or cleanse. After a few months of this you will be sleeping better. Maybe slowly add in intervals once a week....AVOID distance work at all costs. BE super conservative when coming back.
