Running with a perfect 2.0 m/s wind yesterday, former Arkansas hurdler Omar McLeod, the world indoor champ this year at 60h, ran 9.99 in Arkansas to become the first human in history under 13.00 in the 110h and under 10.00 in the 100m.

mainly just shows that hurdlers don't like flat races. I'm sure there have been some fast hurdlers that could've gone under 10 but never tried in top form.

Thanks for the video. It was fun to see everyone so excited about the race and happy for him. What a terrific athlete. I was lucky enough to see him run a few times last year and it was amazing.

Terrence Trammell ran 10.04 and won a silver and bronze in the world indoors 60m.
Someone who can run reliably under 10.0 in the 100m isn't going to be stupid enough to run anything else for a lot less money.
