Semenya is running at SA championships between yesterday and today. She won both the 400m and 800m (50 minutes between the two) with two world leading times: 50.76 400 (fastest time in the world this year and a massive PR for her) plus a 1.58.45 800 (soloed, second was 2.05), her fastest since 2012. Nobody will stop her this year.

No, she didn't run the 1500. At least, not yet. If you check the results that 4'17 is her seasonal best time, not what she actually ran.

The heats of 1500 were cancelled and so 400m semifinals. This allowed Semenya to triple (she still has to run 5 races in 2 days, thought). Those 4.17 is just a seed.

I guess you haven't been paying attention. Last summer the court of arbitration for sport foolishly said people like semenya who have internal testicles no longer had to take hormone therapy. At the time we predicted it would be the end of women's sports as we know them and we are being proven correct

I really don't like having to think this hard when trying to enjoy sport. On one hand you have people being told that they are not technically women and they need to take hormone therapy to eliminate their advantage. On the other you have people trying to compete against woman who have the testosterone and muscle development of men. There are no good answers.
