Dibaba looked smooth and in control as she powered to a huge WR -- will the same happen outdoors this summer?
Last season Bekele clocked 12:49i WR and 12:37 WR -- if that same indoor/outdoor comparison is applied to Dibaba's new indoor mark, that estimates 14:19 for Dibaba -- and comparing the mens 10km WR to 5k WR as to Paula's 30:01, which says the women's 5km WR (all things being equal to the men) should be around 14:23.
My guess is that Dibaba and possibly others run 14:23 or better and may crack 14:20, and possibly 8:20 if they're in the right race.
