I've had a nasty cold the past week and I've had trouble sleeping, but my coach told me to stay away from taking NyQuil since I will feel groggy the next day. I'm not sure if this is true since the NyQuil I got is non-alcoholic. I'm just wondering you you guys think in general about these sleep-aids (Advil PM is another popular one). Would it negatively affect a track workout the day after? I sometimes also take melatonin since it's a natural aid but to be honest it doesn't always help me sleep...
