Has anyone ever went from 2:10 to 1:59 in one track season EVER! Or is it impossible? Also is this done from speed work or high mileage. Plz answer seriously.

It's possible if you get doped to the gills.
We had a junior a while back who went from running a 2:03 to a 1:51.85 in one race. So Id say it's possible.
Under what circumstance did you run 2:10? If it was 30 minutes after a 1500 and you weren't wearing spikes and you were really sick and it was done in high winds and 100 degree heat and hadn't done any speedwork whatsoever and had no one ahead of you to push you, then I would say yes. If it was perfect conditions, probably not. Your age would also affect it- a senior who was already doing 70 mpw going into the 2:10 wouldn't have as good of a chance as some punk freshman doing 15 mpw who didn't even know where to cut in and forgot that the 800 was two laps not three.
As a more helpful response, probably not, unless you felt like that race wasn't your best effort.
I'm in the same situation, kinda. I'm a senior who has been training fairly hard who ran 2:06 a week and a half ago, my PR is 2:04, although I did run a 2:05 at the end of indoor when I was a bit more tuned up. We haven't done alot of speedword since.
I did it last indoor season and I usually push my self to the limits, I've raced many times before. Last year i ran a little under 2:10 and recently this season I ran a 2:15 with max effort.
The 2:04 guy- yes
The OP- not looking good right now. Shoot for 2:05 first and maybe by May you'll be quite a bit closer. Those last few seconds are a b*tch
Sophomore in HS Started the season early March with a 2:10 really split, last weekend ran 2:01, I'm on maybe 5 miles a week though so probably why.
Rekt. Yuppers I had 2:08 last year (PR) off like 10 mpw now im on like 40mpw. Mabye I should decrease milage?
Follow your coaches plan. Add more speed work and a good taper before you race your last 800 and you should see a nice PR. It's common to be off that PR early in the season, don't worry about it.
Thanks for the replies y'all!
I went from 2:09 Sophomore year to 1:59 Junior year.

I went from 2:12 to 2:00. But I was coming off of basketball in northeast Iowa so there wasn't much of a chance to run outside. Ran 2:12 and 4:35 1500m on a 150m indoor track in mid March and then ran 2:00 and 4:33 1600 by the end of May. Pretty much raced myself into shape. I was the only mid distance runner on a tiny 2A class track team. Ran less than 15 miles a week.
I had pretty good leg speed and gradually built up my "endurance" as the season progressed. So yes you can if your first 800m was done with minimal training or race experience and you have natural explosion.
Best of luck!
