I'm in a bit of a weird situation here as when I was running track last year, I only broke 1:30 for an all out 600 once in practice, when I ran 1:29. This was towards the later end of the season and I hadn't broken 2 minutes for the 800 at this point, which I did in for the last two meets of my season, where I ran 1:59 and 1:58. I always hear how a 1:29 600 translates to a like a 2:05 800, so I was just wondering how this much of a difference is possible as I don't even consider myself much of an endurance guy. My best 1600 is 4:33 and my best 3200 is 10:54, so my aerobic ability doesn't really answer that question. Also, how fast should I be able to run if I could get that 600 down to 1:27 or 1:26?
