The pole vault is loaded Barber, Payne and maybe Suhr as are the 4 x 400s.
RunBlogRun's preview talks about the sprint action here:

As far as distance goes the meet is not great. 800 has Leo and Murphy and Koech, 1500 is weak. I don't even know if there is a 5k or 10k.
Sprints will always be good -
Here is the men's 800 field.

Brian Bell had an impressive run
-
Here are the 800 results. Clayton Murphy won by a lot as the sensational freshman year of the Steve Magness coached Brian Bell continued to get better as he ran 1:47.94. Didn't he only run like 151 in HS?
1500 Olympic silver medallist Leo Manzano, who has moved on from John Hayes as his coach, and gone back to Ryan Ponsoby struggled in his 2016 outdoor opener.

He anchored Dunbar's then National Record SMR in 1:49 and came back the next day to win the 800 at NBi. Kid is legit.

Leo is such a squirrel. How many coaches is that in the last 8 years? Yet somehow, he'll be in the hunt for an Olympic berth.

Something in the water in Ohio...Murphy, Kidder, Bell, Prakel...

The phrase "state-sponsored doping" comes to mind.
-
Women's 1500: Dana Mecke in 4:15.93 over Laura Roesler (4:18.17). UTEP's Jonah Koech wins the mile (4:00.82).
