Basketball players are nothing special...besides being good at bouncing a ball and playing basketball. Whats so special about a dunk? One of the overrated skills I see.

HJ is a very technical event
If the average international HJ salary was say $6 million/year (I'm adding $1 million because it's more boring to HJ than to play basketball, so some guys may stick to basketball), you would see a lot of guys switching to HJ. The colour scheme would change.

Idiots... This was the worst WC in the history of the sport in terms of talent. Not a single decent runner came to play. I'd bet some money nobody who medaled at this indoor WCs gets a medal at the Olympics. This Yomif kid is the only one who has a chance.
