anyone use the nosestrip for races? does it really help you breathe better? Any tricks for getting it to stay on?

Yes, it works. Don't listen to anyone else on this site, because it's literally like night and day different once you have a few races wearing one.
As for getting it to stay on, I'm not sure what ails you. Maybe try a shower or wash your face?
It is helpful...if you are superstitious and desperate.
Unless you have a deformity like a deviated nasal septum (in which case, get surgery), air flow through the nose is not a limiting factor in oxygen uptake.
The nose strips are really uncomfortable. All they do is pull up on your skin more than anything. The Rhino Turbine inserts are much easier to use. I'm really surprised they haven't hit the international running scene yet as the they been used in pro cycling for a couple years now.
I wear the Turbine for all speed workouts and races. I don't know whether I get 30% more efficiency as claimed, but it definitely allows more oxygen through the nose and allows for easier breathing through the throat.
where can i get these? i'm willing to try anything to breath better.

Just open your mouth and breath that way. Jesus.
