The worlds is on tape delay tonight on NBCSN starting at 12:30 am eastern.
College hockey is on live now on NBCSN.
And then in an hour we've got Curling USA vs Scotland.
After that's over, they think it's ok to put track on TV.

I just saw that too! Curling up next.
You mad bro?
Seriously, USATF is a joke. Nice salaries though!
Drug cheats haven't wrecked curling yet...I'll go back to crying in my beer now
When Tom Hammond is your play by play man, that tells you all you need to know about what the network thinks about your sport.

Wrong.
http://www.country933.com/2013/07/04/performance-enhancing-drugs-used-in-curling/Now you see what we deal in Canada lol. TSN thinks Curling is more popular than NBA. It's on prime time multiple times a week.
A good Bocce Tournament would also be ahead of track.

Curling has more viewers and sells more adds than T&F.
Curling has more TV viewers than NHL hockey in Canada.
There is no way this is true. Source or gtfo.

I just googled it. On any given night, it appears, it is indeed true.
I'd certainly watch curling before I'd waste time watching a track meet. C'mon. There's no comparison. Let's run. Let's not watch running. ZZZZZZZZZ
Love me the ladies of curling. Lots of hotties on the ice.

I recorded it, and the first half of the recording is a hockey game! I think NBCSN IS catering to Canadians.

.
Really? Fantastic. I hope I didn't miss it. This is a bigger rivalry than Red Sox Yankees.
You can watch it live on the nbc sports app
They don't show it live because track needs massive editing because of all the stuff no one needs or wants to watch
Watching now. Who is the 800m giant hering?
Also possible they think it isMORE popular but dont think it can compete with march madness so they waited until it was over to show
I would believe that curling is more popular than track and field. However, I refuse to believe that people actually think it's that much fun to watch or that it's in any way exciting. The people who watch it love to do so because they think it's cool to announce to the rest of the world how much curling they watched and how unexpectedly exciting they thought it was, when in reality it's the dumbest sh!t in the world. It's not much different from shuffleboard or cornhole. You think anybody would ever watch that on TV?
BTW, I always love the proclamation by the announcers about how strong or athletic these curlers are. "Those curlers are true athletes! To think that they are throwing a 60 lb stone that far is quite amazing! You have to have a lot of strength for that!" Yeah, I bet they live in the weight room to be able to do that. By the way, I could "throw" a 747 across a virtually friction-less surface (i.e., ice).
Doug old pal, you need to chill out, it really doesn't matter, honestly.
Who watches NBC TV with commercials, when you can see the entire meet, albeit, with crummy announcers, from Stem to stern, no advertising, online. Much better way to watch and you can watch the app on your phone too if you are not home.
Hey NBC, Bring in an American announcer, especially for the multis like Dan O'Brien. Would be a much better watch.

Is that any different when they say a certain tennis player won because they were the most athletic? This is the same tennis player who couldn't finish a 5km run! They went on and on about how athletic she was. I think people confuse strength with athleticism. Are shot putters athletes? I mean they couldn't finish a 5k either.
Same for golfers. Is John Daly a great athlete? I say no, he's just a great golfer.
AND I doubt most curlers could finish a 5k. Most could finish a case of beer, but not a 5k. Curling equals drinking night out in Canada.
Curlers != athletes
Overweight golfers != athletes
Overweight shot putters != athletes.
