I wanted to pick all your running brains, as i have a big run coming up and would love any advice.
Have decided to run across Zimbabwe, from Harare to Victoria Falls (a total of 724km). I am doing it to raise money and awareness for mental health, (given that it is 'insanely' long and fairly dangerous). If I do a marathon a day, I should be done in 17 days, and it will be the first time anyone has run this route.
My questions were, given that i have fairly flat feet, is 42 km a day okay in your opinions? Also, do flat feet make one more or less suitable for barefoot running style? Thanks!!
