I am a 17 year old female senior in HS cross country/track runner. I've had 2 stress fractures, tendonitis, and strains.During all my injuries I aqua jogged/swam, did core, and lifted to stay in shape.I currently have been dealing with an unknown injury. My doctors will not allow me to get an MRI and it's been 7 weeks. I've been told pirifomis syndrome, si joint, maybe fracture?? I have no clue. I wanted to run in college so badly and have one coach who was interested in me in things go the righ direction but they're not right now.
I'm trying to stay positive and believe I will come back stronger than ever but I'm afraid and so tired of this. I just can't seem to break this injury cycle. I love running more than anything and I've been fighting for years to just run and be healthy and strong. Any advice at all? Will the injuries and cycle ever end? Thank you.
