Like many of you I am an avid ebayer. Usually find a product I want, try it on in the local store, and then go to ebay and without fail find loads of options at a much cheaper price. The Nike Free 5.0 however is surprisingly nowhere to be found?
I imagine there is quite a demand for the shoe and even if one was listed on ebay it would go for considerably more than suggested retail. Still, no "free" to be found.
I was wondering the same thing. I searched for a pair yesterday on ebay and got nada.
If you are going to waste an employees time and try on a shoe that the store has paid Nike for and paid shipping for and has to pay rent where you live, you are stealing from the local store.

BTW -- just be honest when coming into the store. I don't mind it nearly s much when people are upfront about their intentions as opposed to acting as if they're interested in buying from me.
That way I know not to waste any time on you and serve paying customers first.
Agree. If you try a pair on and plan to buy it, you should at least buy them from the store. Second pair up to you, but I believe you should support the stores that support you.

I currently live in Seoul, Korea and I haven't seen the free anywhere in the country. Believe me, if they did have it at my friendly local running store (that supports me?) I'd be happy to purchase it there rather than go to the hassle of finding a seller on ebay who will ship internationally and pay the extra shipping cost, etc.
I have only posted a few times on this site but without fail I get the typical letsrun all-knowing poster response of "asshole," or some profound explanation of how and where I should spend my money. A bright bunch we're dealing with here on letsrun.
What size do you wear. I have a pair with only 3 miles on it. Shortly after getting it, I got an injury (not connected at all with the shoe). So I am looking at some time off and when I come back, probably will not run in the Frees for a good while. I was going to put them up on Ebay. They are size 9.5.
I have a pair of 12.5's never worn for under $50.
Are the size 9.5 men's or women's? If women's I'm interested.
Nike FREE 5.0 launches in about 225 Finish Line stores on february 9th. so wait a week and you can get them at your local shopping mall.
I ordered mine from a RRS magazine during Christmas break no problem. I don't know why they are not on the website.
