Can anyone recommend some running camps in the northeast (preferrably New England) for a HS girl? My daughter has 2 yrs xc/track experience, will be a freshman next year, and has solid times so far. She likes to run hard, but would like to have fun the rest of the time.

Green Mountain Running Camp, Lyndon State College, some of the best road and trail running in New England
Check out Trailside Lodge Girls Cross country Camp in Killington, VT. Much more personal attention and a really good time with outstanding information. I went to both Green Mountain and Trailside and loved Trailside more. Both are good.

Got great reports about Green Mountain and not so great reports on the Killington Camp.
They are all going to Green Mountain this summer, none are returning to Killington.
Green Moutain is a terrific camp for high school runners with a very knowledgeable staff.

A running camp that has a terrific reputation and is also the biggest one week camp in the US ( over 525 campers and staff) is the RUNNING SCHOOL in upstate NY on the grounds of Camp Chipinaw, an incredible facility with everything any kid could possibly ask for.. contact Al Berkowsky at ALXCTF1@aol.com.... the camp website is www.therunningschool.com..... every year Footlocker qualifiers come from its attendees, even FL winners.. it has a 1/6 adult to camper ratio, great food, enormous new pool, lake, terrific runs, ability grouping, form analysis, race and training strategy sessions, college recruiting seminars, college and olympic coaches as presenters,the best counselors around, full time Medical staff, massage therapists all day..... awesome experience..

I went their 2 years in a row, if she wants to be the best in New England then she will meet the best and learn how to become the best at GMRC.
Not the biggest camp(they limit each week to 100) but probably the best value because each camper gets a new pair of Mizuno shoes is Mountain High Running Camp
