I have a huge ongoing collection of old running spikes c1890 - 1990's. Does anyone know of websites covering such shoes? My rarities inc:
*Adidas Tokyo 1960s
*Adidas Melbourne 1956
*Heap of 1970s Nikes & 1960s Adidas
*JW Foster DeLux 1930s => became Reebok in 60's
*Reebok Pump Spikes Dead-Stock
*Various unused 1930s onwards
*Very old spikes 1890 - 1920s
any chance of having the adidas titan indoor (from the late 80's)? i'd be willing to pay a good sum to have those back.
adidas rereleased those recently. the plate is modidied, however. atleast, i assume so.
Nike Vanquier was a goodie in its day, I won a state title in those in 1979.
i think they released the titan, which is different from the titan indoor.
jerry...track down ralph serna...was a designer for us back at reebok in the 80's (not a shabby runner either)...he had the best collection that I know of...better than my own

do you remember the reebok "cologne" spikes? incredible fit. second only to the nike zoom I for favorites. i could dance in that kit.
Sad really, but when I think of those beautifully soft leather adidas spikes in the 70s it makes me want to cry. I always felt I had to run when I put them on. They were like magic. The current spikes have been designed by a car salesman.

damn. i really don't have any old stuff anymore. i gave it to the local track club after i "retired". makes me sick- terra tc, zoom I, old blue zoom d, red zoom d, original gray/blue waffle racers, waffles II, air edge, olympic zoom d, adidas la steeple, adidas la distance, original nike steeple shoe, etc. i could go on and on. bottom line is no. will you take cash? email is gunderhagg2002@yahoo.com
size 9.5 to 10.5 would be perfect. and we're talking the titan indoor- with the smooth bottom (can take spikes in or out), yes?
