I have really really flat feet with one foot being more collapsed to the point it looks deformed. Anyway they're pretty screwed up yet I don't think I overpronate a ton because my shoes show no wear and I'm light and efficient. Switched from Mizuno Alchemy/Mercury 2 months ago and started adding in DS Trainer. Got used to them and they felt ok w/my orthotics. Last week my arch/planatar area got really sore and bruised and I've been struggling with it ever since. I notice it started when I increased the use of the DS Trainers to 4 days/wk and started running more on roads because of the snow/ice. I never hurt my pf before and am worried because I noticed the DST bend in half at the middle and have a spongy arch. Contemplating returning to my old trainers. Anyone else have this problem? And if I continue barefoot strides and arch exercises/strenghtening can I continue using regulartrainers?
