Who wins in a battle between a nearly 400 lb. silverback gorilla and a Canadian goose.
Of course the gorilla is bigger and stronger but you need to also calculate in factors of attitude, aggressiveness, effrontery, and bluff.

Absolutely not an infant gorilla. In the news account they described this gorilla as a silverback and claimed it was close to 400 pounds. 400 lbs looks like a bit of a stretch but its a very solid gorilla that could easily break you in half.

Actually I knew that and refer to them that way even though I kept typing for some reason Canada Goose.

There were two geese. The second one wasn't on camera at first but the gorilla could see it.
While it was tearing up one goose, the second one could have maneuvered behind it and pecked it. Gorillas are smart and know the danger of being outflanked.

True the gorilla saw that and maybe he was quickly retreating to get reinforcements so it would be a fair fight.
The funniest thing is that the gorilla as it was retreating makes this lame attempt to pound its chest to intimate the goose..... it didn't work.

Full-grown silverback male gorilla. Goose wingspan is 6', and the gorilla is at least 3-400 lbs.

The third goose was a France Goose. You couldn't see him because he was off screen surrendering.
Russia geese were flying overhead pooping on all. One missing from formation honked too loud and died of "natural causes".
