I huge upgrade in coaching the last 2 years. That can't be overstated. It's not like she was a nobody - she won Kinney, err I mean FL, in HS - so the underlying talent was there. The anomoly were her FR/SO seasons in college.
Go follow her Instagram , she is having more fun than any runner ought to, she's fit, smart, very funny and a good role model for young girls.

Impressive, but by no means a jog; staying with the pack early on probably helped her.
The real problem wrote:
She may be an National Champ. She may even make an Olympic Team but much like Lisa Uhl (Kohl). Any female distance runner that has a major improvement based on weight loss will crash and burn within 3 years.
Molly is a different breed. While many girls in high school were worried about their glamour on social media she was the EXACT opposite.
If she had to stop running tomorrow she'd still do just fine in life. I don't think running is an obsession to her like it is for some others. Therefore, I don't think she'd risk her health and cut corners to do better. She knows better than that.
She's smart. She's cute. She's not into herself.
When court judges breed exceptional kids who breed another set of exceptional kids, you end up with aspiring young women like Molly.
Have you even seen her fresh/soph pictures compared to now?? Total difference. Even if she is healthy, she's lost a lot of weight.
Dude, you need to lay off the speed goggles and go meet some girls. I'm assuming you're in college, and most likely not fast. Otherwise you would be busy at one of the conference championships, and not posting on here. Join a frat, and continue running for fun. You'll meet way more girls, and they'll also be a healthy weight that maintain the ideal figure for spring break. You'll thank me next semester.

So - can anyone stay with Molly and Allie at NCAA 5K? Rohrer is within 10-15 seconds of both at the moment. Maybe a Stanford Cardinal? Maybe someone else from the back of the pack if it is a tactical race?
