I don't think it was his first pump celebration. Didn't he do it at NCAAs indoor?
I checked and it seems that pumping is in his pro phase, when he started reading LR boards and developed the pent-up aggression to his critics. While at Oregon, it was singlet-popping, "O" signs, and especially, pointing at the sky:
