3 world records (or all-time world bests) in the same night, has anything similar been done before?
Also, all of these from athletes with the same coach (Jama Aden)!
This smells all like a week of September '93...

Maybe some of the Memorials Ivo Van Damme in Brussels?
Always some great performances at this meet at the end of the season...
A few doubles happened in Oslo, never a triple though...
Zürich 1997
Men's 800, steeple, and 5k WR. All the same night. Just not the same coach...
Wait how can this guy be coaching both sprinters and middle-distance runners?
Looks like 18-years old Spaniard Jordi Torrents (3:41 1500m) has also been training with them: https://www.instagram.com/p/_fT2yWGtGx
Jesse Owens tied/set 4 world records in 45 minutes in a dual meet.

and he was not doping
The drugs work on everybody.

Not to take anything away from Owens, but that was in the Big 10 champs, not dual meet.
if you count the 200m/220yds it was actually 6 world records.
Nothing run in yards counts as a "world" record, even in 1935. Except maybe the mile. Owens' 100m time was shared with a long list of 10.2's.
Don't get me started about how much better even Hitler treated him than his own racist country did when he returned.
Except for the fact that Jama is one of the top coaches in the world and has been coaching at a high level since 1987. Don't you think if someone does something for almost 30 years they start figuring things out? Mate you have no idea go back to jogging and one day when your ready go train with a real group.
Best meet ever that nobody could watch! Still no videos on youtube except short clips! It's a shame, that's what our sport means to the world.
seems way too good to be true. 2 convicted dopers from group already and another runner breaking a longstanding wr from doped Chinese. this doesn't make you wonder?
Meh. All three records are in fake, not often run events. Yes, the mile record is slightly superior the current 1500 iWR, but mile times are actually nearly as fast or faster indoors than out. Don't believe me, I think nick Willis made a similar argument last year. Maybe below 350 mile indoors gets slightly tougher.
Very exciting to see these athletes in great shape though!

Ohhh, Nick Willis said it it must be GOSPEL!
This is all you need to know:
Hamza Driouch - popped onto the scene with a 3:35 when just 16 years old, won gold in 1500m at 2012 World Juniors, tested positive at 2012 London games while under Aden's tutelage
Laila Traby - Aden athlete won bronze at 2014 European Championships in 10k, found with EPO shortly thereafter
It brought back great memories to see a quick snippet on TV of Swedish great Carolina Kluft in the crowd.
Kluft is one of only three (Kersee, Nikitina, Kluft) over 7,000 points in Hept.
I was surprised commentator didn't mention Kluft.

Also Salazar has commented on this. I did think that Willis has a little more credibility than me making this claim though .
The Stockholm records weren't that impressive.
Two rarely run events in the 500 and 1000.
And Dibaba's mile time wasn't much better than she'd aready done and much slower than her outdoor equivalent.
Here are the records from that 1997 Zurich meet:
800m Wilson Kipketer - 1:41.24
Steeple Wilson Boit Kipketer - 7:59.08
5000m Haile Gebrselassie - 12:41.86
And how about having two men named Wilson Kipketer getting records at the same meet?

Except in 1993 the Chinese runners were actually breaking world records, not indoor world bests that are substantially slower than the outdoor records...
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
