Can everyone run as fast as they can (no sprinting) for longer distances with training? I want to be able to run my fast 400 meter times but for the whole 5/10K. I know the elites run close to their max leg speed (not sprinting) for 26 miles so anyone can do it?
The question rephrased would be can all 400/800 meter distance runners train for a 10K and run close to their 400/800 speeds the whole distance or is longer distance only good for people are slow 400/800 runners.
