Looking forward to seeing what kind of shape Defar is in. Also never realized how attractive she is, that should be good for an extra second or two on the track.
Ouch, Adam Nelson started off well, but his commentary of pole vault was hurting. Kept saying how good Suhr looked as she bailed on 2 jumps & almost missed the mats on her other miss. Berian & Wheating both looked good winning 600/1000.
She won, you know.
Everytime I watch these broadcasts I want to cringe. I can't help but wonder how we can fix those sorts of issues and make T&F more appealing to the average viewer. If you're scrolling through the channels and come across T&F, how do we get you to stick around for a bit?

Gebremeskel wins in 7:42. Closed the last 1000m in even 30" laps, after going 2:34-2:38 for the first two Ks.
I get that they want a "play-by-play" guy and Kenny Albert is a brand name and a pretty versatile announcer (he hasn't been terrible/tried to do too much even while obviously not being a track and field guy), but Hutchings might as well call the distance races by himself.
That women's hurdle field was drop dead gorgeous.
And fast.
