I don't think I'd ever heard of this. The facts are it cost more than $300,000. Tennesse paied her $300,000. Then in Manning's book, he mentioned the incident and whitewashed it and called her a 'vulgar mouth' which caused her to lose her job. She sued him when this came out for saying it was defamation and also a violation of their initial settlement. Who knows what really happened? Working in litigation, people will pay out just to make things go away. It's called a settlement where hush money is paid. Also, who hasn't been mooned before. Or executed the atomic situp?

How do I seem "angry" and "swift" to judge. I just reported facts and linked to articles about the incident. I'm not obsessing over this. It's just fascinating to me that I've never heard about it.
Do I think it was a $300,000 offense? Probably not. Do I like how she was blamed after the fact? Most definitely not.

We have changed the title of Payton to Peyton in the title.
Shows how EASY it is to sue someone for sexual harassment. If there is even a shred of truth to the accusation, the schools will settle out of court. About 15 years ago, the Central Michigan University women's soccer coach was in a consenting relationship with two soccer players. They threatened to sue the university for sexual harassment even tho it was consenting and the school gave each woman $250k.
Actually a lot of hard core feminists were upset about the CMU case because it painted these two women as being so weak minded that they were convinced by a man to be in a relationship.
Point being any woman can win a settlement if there is any truth at all.
