I added a note on this on the homepage and our article here:
And she was sort of back last year when she won the adidas GP 1000m over Treniere Moser:
Not sure what her story was, but after the adidas GP last year, she didn't race again until USAs and she DNFd the 800 there to end her season. In December she won a mile in Boston in 4:31.24, so this is an improvement on that.
Here are the full women's mile results:

Soprano, I'd love to see what you wrote but your post is covered by an ad. This happens frequently on this website. Can you guys fix this one day?
When clicking a link on the front page to open in a different tab, the tab opens, but also the entire front page switches away from the site to that link, which it shouldn't do obviously. This happens with about half the links, and has been happening for at least a few months.
Donohue is smaller than she used to be

Thanks for posting, this is the first I've heard of any recent issues and I've not had any problems myself. I'll forward this thread to Weldon and our web guy Erik Westlund so they can see what might be causing this.
What browser are all of you using and is it the latest version?
PS - I use chrome exclusively and never have any issues. But I just tested in Firefox and while all the ads were fine and not impeding my view, I did experience this homepage right click issue. For some reason I thought we had solved this problem (opening links on the homepage in a new tab in Firefox), but I guess not.
Again, I'm forwarding this to Weldon and Erik, but in the meantime if you want to avoid the homepage issue, use chrome. Not that you should have to switch browsers to use LRC, because you definitely shouldn't, just throwing it out there as a suggestion in case you're not partial to either one or haven't tried Chrome. I think Chrome is superior to Firefox (and definitely that poor excuse for a browser Internet Explorer) although I know some are partial to it.

Happens on all of my mobile browsers. I've seen several other people have the same problem. It doesn't happen all the time. Just some posts in some threads. So, tell Weldon/Erik to open this thread on their mobile devices.

Your Chrome worship is unfounded. The problem is just as bad in my Chrome browser as it is in the other browsers.
Good run by Erin...but wow, she was beaten by a 20 year old Canadian. Stafford has got to be an outside shot at the Cdn Olympic team the way she races.
If you are using Chrome you should be using Adblock and you WILL NOT have these issues.
1) We're fixing the right clickon firefox issue. Thanks for brining it to our attention.
2) For people seeing an ad over text in Steve's post what brower, operating system, and device are you using. Everything looks fine.
3) For people who use ad block, we wish you wouldn't. You do miss out on some content on the site Top 10 posts, etc but most importantly you are free loading off our content. This site can not run without ads.

I see an add over text in all of my mobile android browsers. Chrome, firefox, android browser. Does everything look fine on your mobile browsers?

This site is nearly unreadable with ads. I've looked at the client-side source code. It's all shit-up with every sort of tracking and adware with what appears to be not much thought.
Nice run for Ashley Higginson in 4:30. That might be a PR for her. She could be a force in the steeplechase at the Olympic trials after placing 4th in that event at the 2012 trials.

Donohue has always been a gamer when healthy and fit. I don't think I would be going out on a limb to put Donohue at the of of the list to make the 1500m Olympic Team outside of Rowbury and JB of course.
Donahue is 20 lbs heavier than the supposedly oversweight Cain, yet is ten seconds faster. Talk about talent.

I saw her run a solid 800 earlier this year, though I forget what the exact time was. Would be interesting if she could run the 5k at the OT, as she's got enough speed and strength to make things interesting, but the 1500 apparently isn't out of the question.
I might be a little biased as a South Jersey homer.
She looks super strong

Everyone has a different ideal race weight for them. The difference between Erin and Cain is- Cain ran her times pre-pubertal growth, whereas Erin ran her times after. Cain had probably shot up in height when she was running fast, but hadn't put on the weight yet-- now she has put on the weight (and wider hips), and she's slower. Who knows why some women slow down after growing (while others get better), but time will tell whether Cain can match her old form.
