Not sure what Max King is thinking with this start. No chance he holds on to win.
Max King 6:13 at 2k (first loop), pack at 6:19. Can't tell who's in the chase pack, about 8 guys.
I was about to say the same - he's been sprinting for the first 2k. I give him another lap max!

The only guy who I can identify there is Craig Lutz (light blue patterned singlet, red shorts).
Apparently he's the rabbit.
Video Links not working?
Is the way the announcers are talking about King kind of strange to anyone else?
Tim Hutchings knows what he's talking about but the American guy hasn't got a clue. Also keeps interrupting Tim!
And whats with the starter gun that seems to be going off evry 10 mins?!
Go Craig go! Impressive running right now.
Tabor Stevens looks like he is just doing an easy Sunday run!
The announcers are at the meet in the Armory, NY, so you're hearing that meet in the background.
Lutz stretching it out, funny cause his 2k splits have been very even. 25:21 at 8k I think.
Lutz directed the wrong way on the finishing straight, luckily corrected in time to keep the victory.
Both of those posts were uncalled for.
Mods, clean this up!
Great race for Craig regardless.

Thanks that worked
To be fair, very good coverage by USATF on these 2 meets. Cheers!
The women's race was awesome, top 5, then 2 fighting for the championship.
I'm glad the distance has been increased to 10k and finally equalized with the men.
Ironically the men's race was about the same but had an earlier breakaway.
The USATF feed was terrible. It would run for 15 seconds, have to refresh again and do this continually. It wouldn't move at all just sitting there.
Congrats to Lutz. Fulfilling his potential.
