First Farah runs a slow XC. People were saying that Farah is not suited for mud... blah blah blah..
Now Levins and the Japanese guy both run a slow 3000m
What's going on?
When is the last time that Levins ran such a slow 3000m?

Yeah 752 for 3k is pretty slow. You would probably kill just to run that pace for an 800m.

The point he's making is that, as a big fan of a lad like Cam Levins, we want to see the best from him. So he's wondering why he ran 7:52 when he's been able to do much better in the past.

Slow "for him". I think you understand that...
I think that we have to go back to 2011 to see a slower 3000m time from him (other than championship setting)
The Japanese NOP guy finished behind Reid Buchanan. Great run by Reid, but 7:54 is a really slow time for the Japanese guy.

What an idiotic post.
I can't play basketball better than Lebron James. Am I allowed to observe if he has a bad game?
Ironically, this "duhhhhh well what's YOUR time?" defensiveness from fanboys both demonstates and shows why track has never arrived as a true pro sport.
Just getting the dosages adjusted.
They are hoping some bad results will reduce the scrutiny.
January is usually hit and miss for them
Jenkins did pretty well

Tygart is breathing down their throat. Coincidence? We shall see.

No, he is referred to as the NOP Japanese guy on LetsRun. He will never have an actual name, unless he goes sub 13 at 5000m...
The way he's running now he's closer to running slower than 8min for 3000m than sub 13 at 5000m.
Hi Bert. See you at Mass on Sunday.
Perhaps they're in base-building mode or some other non-speed oriented training? I'm sure their primary goal is the olympics, so they don't need to be anywhere near top form at the moment.
Thoughts? Other ideas?

This. It's January of an Olympic year. This was the first race of the season for them too (anyone's rust-buster can be hit or miss regardless of fitness). I'm sure this was just done as a race to break up the training and give the local fans a show, no harm in that.
Yup. Less focus on indoors this year and more focus on Olympics.
The only Japanese guy whose name LRC recognizes is that guy with the full-time job and races a 2:09 every other weekend.
Levins- 7.52
Osako- 7.54
Centro- 7.55
Farah- got beat xc
Rowbury- 8.53
Hasay- 4.49
Only good run has been rupp that jogged that 61.30 half marathon.
with the heat on
they are forced to train without all the Nike drugs .
in addition
now they are forced to use the prescription performance enhancing drugs according to prescribed levels , so no additional benefit there aswell
Why do people get off to making up lies / bad jokes about NOP?
