I think that her blogs are great. She's quirky and has a great sense of humor. I think that we can all appreciate the struggle of the professional distance runner and her blogs does a good job of representing that
Good point
I like the blog. Her 52.3 in the 400m indicates at least a 1:57 in her future. I hope she realizes her potential on the track.
She's pretty entertaining.
Not bad. Lots of pooping and farting though. Made me wonder if she used to be a swimmer. They are really into that sort of thing.
I like it. She's cool. Check out her post on "the IAAF shit show".
I was annoyed after the first sentence. The idea you're a good runner so you know more than everyone else is off putting.
My thoughts.
Why are so many runners airheads? I mean total wacko dips.
Great blog. She's honest, interesting, and entertaining. She's also a very good writer, which is rare and refreshing these days. Not to mention, there are some good lessons in there for a wide range of runners.
Phoebe, keep running and keep writing!
Here's hoping for a post from Rio!

She ran 1:57 years ago and hasn't approached it since. Bad coaching at the heart of it. Too bad. It happens.
1:57 was years ago for her wrote:

She has never run 1:57. What are you smoking?
Kinda clever blogger. I've seen her at local races.
I really enjoyed that! Thanks for sharing Phoebe

Did you read the entire blog?
If you had read past the first sentence I think you would have been amused and entertained.
I thought it was great.
Following Phoebe on twitter is way better than any of the cookie cutter junk that Hasay and every other Nike athlete puts up. She is a fun inside look at professional running.

One of the best stories I have read on here / there.
She's full of piss and vinegar and is everything I love to see in an athlete.
Just enough crazy to maximize her physical ability.
The "52" 400 was in practice as Phoebe said, which if probably a 53 high if you know anything about JJ Clark. He likes to lie on split times in practice to give the athletes "confidence". Which is dumb in my opinion.
If you look on her all-athletics, her 600 last year at USA's (1:27) is her PR, so that lines up more with a 53 high top end 400.
