So I'm a self-coached athlete that generally relies on Daniels' pacings for my training. The E, M, T, I, R paces all make sense for me, but I've always felt the need to add a separate category for truly easy running.
While his easy running paces are fine for runs that aren't workouts, I find they're fast for warmups, cooldowns, jogs between intervals, etc. Having watched enough workout videos, I also know that most elites are not running within their "Easy" range for warmups, cooldowns and recovery jogs. Does Daniels speak to this at all and have any recommendations on the paces that should be used in these circumstances?
