Recently i have been getting pain in my big toe when I walk. I know it can't be any type of fracture because it never aches...it only hurts when I am in the "pushing off" motion. it also doesn't hurt too much to run, but is soar after. What could this be..hyperextended toe....please help and let me know if anyone has ever experienced it. I am icing it, I wear orthodics and good shoes. Thanks alot:)
possible turf toe, happened to a guy I know who was running about 115 per week.
The ball of my foot has hurt wearing my work shoes with my suit. Had to find a shoe to walk in to work and then change. Pain has since gone away.
damn, i have this too. i've had it for a couple of weeks, it's like a pain on the bottom of my big toe to the back of the ball of my foot. stretching and strengthening doesn't seem to help it. is it a for of PF? i don't think it is.... what can i do?

i'm having this same problem with mine. it is sore ball of the foot and the knuckle of the toe meet. i've just been toughing it out, since it doesn't bother me that much.
this started when i started to train in the new Nike Milers, so it's probably shoe related.
