Calm down. You are transforming into a white walker. Not the worst thing in world.
Put them in hot water and fall asleep
Remove all of your toenails if you are an ultra runner..

We all know ultra runners are hard as nails.
If this is true, you have nerve damage. Luckily, nerves in the peripheral nervous system are more reparable than those in the central nervous system. You will continue to experience numbness for days, weeks, or possibly even months, but it will fade away, and you will almost certainly be totally normal again after awhile. I don't know how long your feet were in icewater, but I'd guess you'll be mostly back to normal in a month. Don't worry about it unless you start getting pain or discoloration.
Poor guy asking for advice and not getting any. Anyway, I went sledding once with knitted gloves and I came back with the tips of my fingers numb. WebMD'd that ish and found out it was frostnip. My I think it was 2 on one hand and 3 on the other. I was scared because I didn't want to have my fingers amputated. The feeling came back slowly after 2 weeks or so. Then again it wasn't my whole hand...or foot. Good luck.
You probably have some minor nerve damage, but very superficially so, particularly if you are not exhibiting any "frost bite" symptoms, like discoloration, swelling or pain.
Feeling will gradually come back in the next few days, and within a couple of weeks should be back to normal.
I've also had "nerve damage" from banging my fingers hard once - took near 1 month for me to be able to feel one of my fingers but it came back.
Go to real doctor while good advice is the stupidest thing people spout on the internet. It can takes days if not weeks to schedule an appointment with the right specialist. In the meantime people search the internet for some peace of mind and in many cases the internet is a great resource for medical advice.
Might as well ban the internet. If you want running advice go to a real coach. If you want sports.injury advice better go to the physio. Right?
Idiot.
try DMSO

try BDSM.
You did nerve damage.
It should repair at the rate of an inch per month.
If you are freaked, schedule a nerve conduction study with a neuro or a physiatrist.
8/10. I mean who falls asleep while ice bathing??? In fact I lol'd when I read the title, yet so many serious responses!

Frostnip. Sounds like you went running topless during a Michigan winter.

I believe it. I once fell asleep shivering in the cold while having to pee and watching the Exorcism of Emily Rose in a movie theater. And I used to be really scared of those movies.
I GOT A BALD HEAD!!!!!!!!!
You killed the nerves and muscles in your ankles and feet, soon necrosis will set in and they will turn black. This happens to mountain climbers all the time.
Good luck!

Man... If only there were some building or department where you could go when you need to see a doctor quickly rather than waiting a few days... Somewhere you could go when there's no time to wait, as if you were in some sort of emergency... Damn, whoever comes up with that is gonna make a fortune.
To the OP, you're an idiot - this is obviously not normal, nor is it under control, because your feet are STILL numb. Go to the hospital or see a doctor. There is no advice on the internet that will cover the treatment you need. This is obviously not a case of toenails falling off - both of your feet are numb DAYS after the incident.
