Anyone know the records for these distances?
300, 500, 600, 1k, 1200, 2k????
I'm guessing
300: 34.5
500: 58.9
600: 1:16
1k: 2:22
1200: 2:56
2k: 5:10

2k - 5:18.5 by Galen Rupp.
He set it en route to his former 3k record. Even though Lukas Verzbicas and German Fernandez ranfaster 3ks, they didn't record an official 2k split for them.
1k: 2:24.79 by Bobby Curtis
Not sure if you are distinguishing indoor v outdoor, but the fastest high school 1000m was Robby Andrews 2:22i.

Indoor and outdoor records.
If remember correctly Robby Andrews ran an indoor 1000m record of 2:21 at the Armory. I was in college at the time and got to watch that race. I believe he opened in 30 - pretty impressive
The 600 has to be from Granville's 1:46 high school record. The 1200 has to be Webbs split.

Not that I know what the marks are, but the 300 and 1200 seem weak, and the 500 seems too strong.
Most 47 400 guys would have a shot at 34.5 in the 300.
Many distance oriented 1:50 800 guys would have a shot at 2:56 in the 1200.
It is pretty rare you see anyone run under 60 seconds in the 500 (granted, this event is not all that common).

I know for a fact that people have run faster than that for the 300.
Webb set the indoor record at 1k of 2:24, which Andrews broke at 2:22 (he also owns the indoor 800m record of 1:49).
Strymar Livingston set both 500m and 600m indoor records at 1:01 and 1:17, in 2012, while Michael Cherry ran 33.05i in 2013 to set that record.

Livingston, by the way, is listed at a community college, Iowa Western, for 2015, and he ran 47/1:16.5/1:49.5/2:29 1k/4:15 1500m in college indoor and outdoor this year, with a victory in the juco nationals at 800m in 1:50.94.

He initially signed with Mississippi State and planned to study engineering, but there weren't any results for him there.
300- 33.05 by Michael Cherry
500- 1:01.68 and 600 1:17.58 both by Strymar Livingston
By track and field news, only indoor records listed for those distances

Which of these two is softer and when will we see it fall?

Any stats geeks have these splits?

Calling all stats gurus.
Still looking for granvilles 600 split during his high school record. And webbs 1200 split from his record.
Here's the vid of Webb's HS mile record. I don't think there's an official split for him, but it looks like his 1200 split was ~2:58

I think Rupps 5:18.5 is softer. That's 63 per 400 so you would have to hit 4:12 at 1600. It would take a sub 4:05 guy to break it.
A 1500 guy who is also sub 1:50 should be able to run 2:22.
The tough part is you may only have 1 chance to race a 1k or 2k.
Webb was 2:58.3 flat when he came through "3/4" of a mile according to ESPN. So that is either a 1200m, 1206m, or 1209m split depending on how they determined where to take the split.
Most likely Ryun had a faster 1200m split en route to his 3:55.
The Penn Relays 1320y record split is 2:59.8 (converts to 2:58.8 1200m)
