for the last 6 months or so i have been training in the nike air streak spectrum vapor 4s. Very light low profile. They used to be 60 bucks but they ran out of my size. Now i can\'t decide between ultimate 81s and limber up moscows. the pros and cons i am weighing is that the moscows look lighter but they also have a weird outsole, the wavy stuff. Has anyone ran mileage in these? How is the ride. Any help is thanked. I am used to training in flats but i can\'t decide. Thanks
The Moscow Etc. is the lighter of the two models. It feels more like a racer, in my opinion. The Ultimate 81 has a firmer ride and probably will have you feeling less stones and roots as you run over them than the MLU would. I find that you can improve the flexibilty of each shoe by removing the insole and putting a Spenco in its place.

I've brought this up in about 8 posts now. I love my Limber up Moscow's. I did a 4 x mile workout in them a few weeks ago. Felt almost better than when I ran the same workout in the DS-Racers. They are hip; try and keep 'em clean if you can. Having owned them for 8-9 months, I will tell you that you cannot go wrong with the Moscows. UNLESS - you get very hot feet. Not nearly as breathable as what we are used to today. Other than that - golden.
