There is no way any other state has a dumber or more confusing process than in New York. For a state with such a glorious running history, it baffles me the way this is handled.
Can anyone clarify the process for me?
Basically what I know is there are 11 sections by geography, each divided into 4 classes (A-D) based on school size. You need to win your section to make the State meet. Then the State meet is the 4 classes (A-D) and somehow from there, you qualify for the Federation meet...
Let me know what I have wrong or right.
(Then of course it's its own region for NXN purposes, so that's probably the true "State meet" meaning the best teams in the state race each other, which is what NH, RI, CT, NJ all do.)
