In the GHSA state meet in the biggest classification(6A) a runner finished 3rd overall and then DQ'ed after race for an illegal logo on headband. This rule is found no where in GHSA rule books. How horrible/stupid is this rule/decision and is there any NFHS rules about it?

Don't know exactly. I was there but didn't see the incident. App entry from what I heard though was that it was a logo and a bible verse written on the headband
Full story is that the runner had a headband with a bible verse he was Asked to take it off by one official but another official said it would be okay if he turned it inside out. So that would he did and he ran the whole race and finished 3rd and was told after the race that he would be DQ'ed cause he chose to still wear headband even though the other official approved it.
